Thevinone (IUPAC name 1-[(5α,7α)-4,5-Epoxy-3,6-dimethoxy-17-methyl-6,14-ethenomorphinan-7-yl]ethanone) is an opioid drug derived from thebaine and has a similar chemical structure. Thevinone is similar to morphine and codeine, but has a stimulant rather than a depressant effect and is also used in the manufacture of other opioid peraparts.
